THE BETTER EXPLANATION
There can be no debate about the existence of the world. What is debatable is how the world began: Creation or Evolution.
THE BETTER EXPLANATION
Psalm 100:3 It is he that has made us, and not we ourselves
The idea that God created man is a far better idea than the idea that man evolved from animals. Consider this.
Creation
We can all agree that you cannot get something out of nothing. If there was nothing in the beginning, there would be nothing now (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1, Psalm 100:3). Now there are stars in the sky, plants, animals, and human beings (Psalm 8:3, 33:6-9). These things exist because of a wise and loving Creator (Hebrews 3:4, Romans 1:19-20, Colossians 1:16).
Confusion
Unfortunately, some have rejected the truth of creation by offering theories that have resulted in confusion (Romans 1:21-28). Today, some cannot tell the difference between male and female (Matthew 19:4, Genesis 1:27). Some are attempting to create a family that cannot reproduce (Genesis 1:28). Children now become adults, not knowing right from wrong (Hebrews 5:14, Isaiah 5:20).
Evolution
To replace the idea of Creation, some have come up with the theory of evolution. They believe that the Big Bang explains the origin of the stars, plants, animals, and life (Psalm 14:1). Their theory is similar to Aaron’s explanation of the origin of the Golden Calf (Exodus 32:24). For evolution to be true, a non-human will have to produce a human (Genesis 1:11-12 24-25 Matthew 7:16-18).
Explanation
We did not make ourselves. God made us (Psalm 100:3). It is better to believe that the existence of man is due to an intelligent Creator than mere chance (Psalm 139:14). A computer cannot be constructed by chance. A human brain is much more sophisticated than a computer; hence, it could not be constructed by chance. Let us not be spoiled by foolish philosophy or weird science (Colossians 2:8, 1 Timothy 6:20).
